Sinomach signs cooperation agreement with Jiangsu

Sinomach and the Jiangsu provincial government signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu province, on July 31.

Wu Zhenglong, governor of Jiangsu province, and Zhang Xiaolun, chairman of Sinomach, attended the signing ceremony.

According to the agreement, the two sides will fully implement the development concepts of innovation, coordination, green development, opening up and sharing, and firmly grasp the opportunities brought about by the Belt and Road Initiative and the construction of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, working together to achieve mutual benefit and common development.

Before the signing ceremony, Wu met with Zhang and expressed his gratitude to Sinomach for its long-term contribution to the development of Jiangsu. He said that the provincial government will go all out to support the development of Sinomach in the area.

Zhang said that Sinomach will bring more high-quality and major projects to Jiangsu to promote its development.

Sinomach is currently operating nearly 140 subsidiaries in Jiangsu, with total revenue exceeding 92 billion yuan ($13.1 billion) in 2018.

The company also plans to build a new materials research institute and a weaving production base in Jiangsu, expanding cooperation in supply chain services, smart industries, energy conservation and environmental protection.

The company has established partnerships with several cities and provinces in the Yangtze River Delta region to strengthen cooperation between the State-owned enterprise and local governments in the area.
